Our Approach

The Need is Great

One in four girls and one in six boys have been sexually abused or assaulted by the time they turn 18 and the effects can last a lifetime. Children are most vulnerable to sexual abuse between the ages of 7 and 13 and in the majority of cases, they know the abuser. While some survivors receive help through family or support services, many receive no help at all and suffer in silence well into adulthood. Sexual abuse/assault survivors are more likely to be unemployed, underemployed, addicted, and to live with anger, shame or periods of depression.

Our Story

Triumph's Mission

Triumph Seminars aims to remove stigma and shame associated with sexual abuse/assault and to walk with survivors toward healing. The organization provides techniques for education, prevention and response for the healing and advancement of those who have been or may be at risk of being impacted by sexual abuse; as well as to support the recovery process of those who seek freedom from alcoholism and substance abuse.
Triumph Seminars was established as an Illinois Not-For-Profit Corporation in 2008 and received 501(c)(3) charitable status in 2010.
